Devos Lemmens sauces, Lacroix (stock) and Imperial products are produced, we are looking for an Assistant Production Manager (ad interim) for a project with an estimated duration of 6 months. You will take joint responsibility as Assistant Production Manager/Team Leader on the production lines of the sauces department. If increasing production efficiency (higher OEE) is your goal, then you are the person we are looking for! Vacancy As Assistant Production Manager you lead, direct and control all production activities, in order to achieve the short- and long-term operational targets. You are responsible for operational results in the areas of HSE, direct and indirect cost related to the production activities, reliability, quality, schedule adherence and morale. You will coach and direct your direct reports in order to implement and maintain these strategies. Through development of a high performance culture within the manufacturing plant you will deliver input to the production manager on investments in the plant. In this perspective you help the production manager to manage the needs to create a vision on future equipment requirements. Furthermore you will lead and implement improvement projects. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 50% coaching, developing and monitoring of the direct reports. Developing and managing a sound data-driven culture with daily and weekly performance reporting. 20% implementing improvement projects in production 10% together with the production manager, developing and implementing a high performance and high quality, continuous improvement culture in manufacturing. Motivating all production workers to contribute to this culture. 5% cross-functional contacts. 5% support and responsibility for Health & Safety in the plant. 5% managing the manpower plan and feeding operations management teams for the development of an investment plan as part strategic plan. 5% Training Profile You have obtained a Master Degree in a technical discipline (Engineer); You have a minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience and an equal number of years of experience in supervisory/management; You are a real People Manager; You have knowledge of processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment; Project Management is not unknown to you; You speak Dutch and English fluently; You are a creative problem solver; You have the ability to interact with team members at all levels in the organization, as well as senior leadership across multiple functions; You are able to influence the direction of the site and align and engage resources that are outside their area of responsibility; You have solid training, coaching and influencing skills to ensure team success; You must demonstrate strategic thought leadership; You are able to successfully manage multiple projects through sustained completion.
