Omschrijving: Be part of a mission of the Electronic Hardware Engineering Infrastructure in designing and developing MR products for hospital and outpatient radiology facilities.
As an Electronic Hardware Engineer you will be designing and developing the hardware for the control and acquisition subsystem for MR products for hospital and outpatient radiology facilities. You will work with a team of electrical hardware (RF, analog, mixed signal) and mechanical engineers, system engineering, procurement engineering, manufacturing and service engineers to take products from concept through design into production using sound design approaches to meet the needs of our customers and their demanding environment.
In this role you will be responsible for the design, realization, integration and verification of FPGA firmware in the MR Acquisition Sub-System on the basis of design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications.
Function:
Driving the delivery of FPGA Firmware through Global AD & NPI programs
Responsible for coordinating FPGA Firmware deliveries from 3rd party suppliers
Driving effective communication across businesses and functions in the area of FPGA Firmware integration
Define and drive Global FPGA Firmware integration & release strategy
Deliver high quality FPGA design starting from requirements management till introduction in the factory
Coordinate, support and execute firmware verification to provide a traceable verification of the product
Profile :
Bachelors/Masters in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
At least 5 years experience in Electronic Hardware development and/or FPGA Firmware development, preferably in a (safety) regulated industry such as medical devices, gas appliances, aviation equipment etc.
Knowledge of Configuration management tools & processes is required
Good leadership skills, communication skills and a team player
Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle
Experience in the following:
Electronic Design - High speed digital / FPGA / DSP
Modelling and simulation of electronic designs (MatLab, UVM, System Verilog)
Implementation of Digital Signal Processing functions (DDS, NCO, DDC, SDR)
Digital networking/connectivity: fiber optics, Ethernet, RS232, USB
FPGA design tools from Xilinx (VIVADO) and MicroSemi (Libero)
Strong communication skills
